New London Restaurants To Visit In 2025
By
It appears 2025 is the year of fine dining and exceptional cuisine as London is set to welcome a horde of new restaurants to its buzzing streets. Here at Saint and Sofia, we’ve scanned the menus and collated five must-visit hotspots to fill the upcoming months.
Voyage by Adam Simmonds
With a Michelin star already under his belt for his restaurant Danesfield House, Adam Simmonds has become one to watch on the London cuisine scene. And his latest spot promises to bring just as much delight with a bright and airy Scandinavian twist. Voyage will open inside The Megaro hotel opposite St Pancras and offers a fresh and Scandinavian-influenced menu inside the double-height room.
Gordon Ramsay at 22 Bishopsgate
It appears 22 Bishopsgate is Gordan Ramsay’s new palace as the chef is set to open several new restaurants inside, as well as a cookery school. The skyscraper will become home to Ramsay’s Asian-inspired Lucky Cat as well as a high-rise version of his eponymous restaurant, Gordon Ramsay.
The Prince Arthur
This new hot spot offers an elevated take on the classic pub and is situated in Belgravia and even features its own-brand caviar (yes, really). Upstairs there’s a Basque-style restaurant run by chef Adam Iglesias with an upmarket reimagining of the classic pub menu.
Calong
You may have seen Calong popping up recently in takeovers and superclubs, but for the first time ever, Chef Joo Won is opening his own place in Stoke Newington. His menu and approach are described as “French and European cooking… harmonised with subtle Korean flavours” with signature dishes to look out for in the form of his “JFC”– a fried chicken thigh with sweet chilli sauce and coriander.
Bar Valette
If you’ve been lucky enough to try the tasting menu at double-Michelin star restaurant, The Clove Club, you’ll be aware that it’s an incredible display of food – but at a high price point. Well, it appears The Clove Club’s chef, Isaac McHale, has broadened his horizons with a new Shoreditch hotspot: Bar Valette. Here, you can expect sharing plates such as grouse sausage rolls, devilled crab tartlets, and venison meatballs at a much leaner cost.
