What To Do In Covent Garden This Month #2

By Emily Weatherill

There’s no better time to visit the city than in the summer, and if you’ve got a trip planned in August, you’re in for a treat. This month, Covent Garden plays host to a whole cohort of fun events and things to see. So, if you find yourself Googling “what to do in Covent Garden this month”, let this serve as your guide.

Roseblood’s Pop Up – Floral Court

If your August calls for a chilled glass of wine and a beautiful terrace to drink it on, we’ve got just the place. Hidden inside a peaceful corner of Covent Garden, Roseblood hosts a tranquil pop-up bar where you can enjoy tastes of their signature rose or their decadent white.

The Tusk Turtle Trail

Explore the streets of central London with an oceanic twist; 16 life-sized turtle sculptures have been put on display across iconic London locations, each decorated in unique designs created by globally renowned artists and celebrities, including Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood. Find the full map here and plan your route.

The Kids Table – Seven Dials Market

Got little ones to keep entertained during your day in the city? Seven Dials Market is on hand with The Kids Table, where your tots and children can unleash their inner artist with arts and crafts. Step back and enjoy the delicious food stalls while they get stuck into glittering, colouring, and building.

Paws on the Floor – Sushi Samba

Don’t forget your fluffy pals this summer; they deserve treats, too! This August, Sticks ‘n’ Sushi is offering a take-home treat box in collaboration with Pooch & Mutt. Your hound will be able to fill their chops with salmon and fennel probiotic fish-shaped treats while you dig into a plate of fresh sushi.

Saint + Sofia Store

No trip to Covent Garden is complete without a stop at the Saint + Sofia Store. Located at 35 Monmouth Street, it’s filled with all the beautiful designs from our latest collection. Browse the rails, or book yourself into one of our Personal Shopping Sessions for a more boutique experience.
